Nigerian hitmaking producer Sarz has joined hands with some of Africa’s and the UK’s top hip-hop voices for the much-anticipated “Hennessy Cipher 2026.”

Part of Hennessy’s ongoing commitment to hip-hop, the single is another chapter in the brand’s celebrated Cipher series, out August 7, 2026.

The 2026 edition is especially noteworthy for its cross-border lineup of artists from Ghana, the UK, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, South Africa, and Cameroon.Sarz-produced “Hennessy Cipher 2026” is rooted in hip-hop but gives each rapper room to showcase their individual flow, personality, and lyrical style.

The collab brings together Ghana’s Kwesi Arthur, whose rap influence is ENNY with her UK perspective; Suspect 95 with his Ivorian identity; Kenya’s Fena Gitu with her sound; Yanga Chief of South Africa with his lyricism; and Cameroon’s Tenor with his energy, making it a truly pan-African cipher.

The 2026 edition is also a historic one in the Hennessy Cipher series. Tenor is the first Cameroonian artist to feature in the Cipher.

Suspect 95 and Tenor represent Francophone Africa in an edition that brings together two Francophone talents for the first time.

With Sarz on the production, the record gives six rappers the opportunity to represent their cultures and be part of one unified hip-hop statement.

The collaboration is a sign of the increasingly connected nature of African hip-hop, where artists can cross geographical and language boundaries without losing their individual identities.

Fans can now relive this year’s international rap showcase with “Hennessy Cipher 2026,” available on major streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music.
