Oxlade, a Nigerian Afro-Pop phenomenon from Lagos, would release his debut album, “OFA (Oxlade From Africa).” Produced by Spax, the album has a masterful fusion of Afrobeats, Afro-Swing, Amapiano, Coupé-Décalé, and R’n’B. The album takes listeners on a trip through the four aspects of the “Oxyverse”— Love, Pain, Hustle, and Joy.
With their unique voices and catchy beats, Oxlade transports listeners to the “Oxyverse.” Collaborations on the album include work with musicians from the Caribbean, African diaspora, including Bobi Wine, Dave, Fally Ipupa, Flavour, Ojahbee, Popcaan, Sarkodie, Tomi Owó, and Wande Coal.
With double platinum certifications for ‘Ku Lo Sa’ in Switzerland and platinum certifications in Canada, France, and Germany, Oxlade has made a name for himself in the music world. The song he co-wrote with Dave, “Intoxycated,” peaked at number 50 on the UK chart the previous year.
The album by Oxlade comes after his most recent hit, “Arabambi,” which denotes his arrival in the Love Dimension. ‘OFA’ is expected to solidify his status as a top performer in the Nigerian music scene and propel him to a worldwide prominence.
