In an interview with Billboard Arabia, the award-winning Nigerian artist talked about how he works with other artists from around the world.

He stressed that spontaneous creative chemistry is more important than forced partnerships.

“I just really make music. Whoever comes around, comes around, and we make music if we are chilling, if we are in the studio,” Davido said.

He said he likes organic connections better and that music knows no borders.

“I enjoy collaborating with others to create music organically.” I prefer not to impose my will on situations. I recently completed a collaboration with Bhaskar from India. “I believe music serves as a universal language,” he stated.

Davido said that the collaboration with Chris Brown is already in the works and will be out next year.

Since 2019, when Davido’s hit single “Blow My Mind” included Brown, the two artists have worked with a lot. Brown later that year put Davido on Lower Body.

Their cooperation has lasted for years, and they worked together on the 2019 movie Under the Influence, which was co-written by Brown, Davido, and Tiffany Mckie and produced by Nigerian producer KDDO.

They also worked together on Hmmm in 2024, Sensational in 2022, and Shopping Spree with Young Thug in 2020.
