Afro-house singer Niniola has released a new song, that is deeply emotional and a tribute to her late husband and longtime manager, Michael Ndika.

The song is Niniola’s first project since the death of Ndika who died in May 2026.

On “Raining (O Dun Mi),” Niniola pours her grief, memories and emotions in a soulful musical tribute.

This song is about the pain of losing someone you love but it also talks about the memories that stay after they’re gone.

Niniola has also dedicated “Raining (O Dun Mi)” to everyone who has lost and grieved.

“The song is a melody for the tears, pain and memories that come with losing a loved one,” Niniola told OkayAfrica.

Raining (O Dun Mi) is another side of Niniola’s artistry, with its emotional message and personal significance that brings out her vocals and songwriting to tell a story of love, remembrance and healing.

The new single is now available to stream on all major streaming platforms.
