Nigerian Afrobeats star Mr Eazi is releasing a new single, “Lambo,” with dancehall super-producer Dre Skull and Jamaica’s “King of Dancehall,” Vybz Kartel, on July 3, 2026, via Dre Skull’s Mixpak Records and Mr Eazi’s emPawa Africa.

The record is in that sweet spot between Afrobeats polish and dancehall muscle, driven by the tension between Mr Eazi’s smooth half-sung delivery and Kartel’s razor-edged patois.

“Lambo” is a trance-inducing bashment track that revolves around Eazi’s infectious hook.“Lambo” is the lead single from an upcoming dancehall-inspired mixtape, Yard & Yanga, coming later this year, and is the latest chapter in the long-running creative partnership between Mr Eazi and Dre Skull.

The two previously collaborated on 2021’s “Sekkle and Bop” (which also featured Popcaan) and 2025’s “Dance Pon Me,” and this new project leans more toward combining their two worlds.

And Dre Skull told us how the mixtape came together: “Eazi and I have been making music together for a couple of years and became good friends along the way, and the studio sessions became naturally intertwined with dancehall and Afrobeats until we realized this is bigger than just a few songs, so we thought we’d lean into it and make it a full project.
