Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Davido, has dropped his hugely anticipated sixth studio album, ORIADÉ, marking yet another milestone in his impressive music career.
The 13-track project is a celebration of his growth, his legacy and his commitment to putting African music on the world stage.
The album’s title, “ORIADÉ,” is a Yoruba word meaning “the head that wears the crown,” a reference to the confidence of Davido in what he calls his “crown era.”
The project is a fusion of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Afro-fusion and contemporary African sounds and features collaborations with talented artists from Nigeria and beyond.
Following the success of lead singles “I Know Who I Be” featuring JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, and “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring NO11, the album highlights Davido’s ability to combine infectious melodies with compelling storytelling and world-class production.
