Davido, Omah Lay, and MoBlack rework (With You) for the dance floor.
Afrobeats just received another fresh shake-up with Davido’s “With You (Remix),” which features Omah Lay and South African house producer MoBlack.
The song is a captivating mix of rhythm, soul, and deep groove.
The remix of With You takes it to an even deeper level than the original, which was a lovely, romantic song.
MoBlack adds his own touch to the original by replacing its milder bounce with pulsating basslines, ambient synths, and percussion layers that sound like they were created for late-night dance floors.
Davido’s lively delivery is still there, but Omah Lay adds a whole new flavour with his airy, thoughtful voice that flows perfectly between the beat’s darker, more hypnotic sounds.
They make a soundscape that is both personal and ready for the club, which is great for people who like Afro-house and experimental Afrobeats crossovers.
