Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer CKay released his 12-track studio album BANGER BOY on 7 August 2026, following EMOTIONS (2024) and the 2025 EP CKay The Second.
CKay keeps most of the album to himself, with Mavo, Kidd Carder, Phyno, Maleek Berry, and King Promise being the only guest appearances.
The collaborations place him alongside artists at either end of modern Nigerian and Ghanaian music, leaving a good chunk of the record in his hands.
CKay also gets a hand behind the boards, sharing production duties across the album with collaborators including BMH, Fez, Reward Beatz, and other producers who were involved in shaping the project.
That involvement is a continuation of a part of his artistry that predates his international breakthrough, with production still being very much tied into his songwriting and recording process.
Another productive spell for CKay sees him continue to build on the massive reach of “Love Nwantiti” as BANGER BOY lands.
CKay’s second project kept his catalog moving in 2025. The album gives his current era a full-length home after the shorterStream BANGER BOY everywhere on the major digital platforms, and let us know what records stick with you.
